I just found this old post as a draft so I thought I should post it. These are some more of my Farmer's wife sampler quilt blocks that I have made.

Two more blocks
I have decided to do the final row of 13 blocks to add to my Farmer's wife sampler quilt.
As I had finished 72 blocks already I was going to stop at that and finish putting the quilt together. But as I thought about it I changed my mind and decided to make the last 13 because I think I would regret not making them if I stopped now. So I have made the first 2 of the 13.
Now I just need to find do the next 11.

Poochabald art exhibition
I went along to see the recent exhibition at the Rosny school house. It was all about dogs. There was such a huge range of art and ceramic to look at. So many gorgeous dogs as well. The lino print above is one done by my dad of his previous dog.
Here are a few of my favourite pieces. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Runnymede house and garden
When I heard that Runnymede house was having a plant sale I thought, what could be better than an historic house, a beautiful garden and plants for sale.
Luckily the rain stayed away long enough for a very nice stroll around the garden and a chance to buy a few plants.
I love this drive way and there is nothing as interesting as a hedged walkway.
