Time to weave again
At the start of this time of isolation I had lots of energy for crafting but as the time passed I found it harder to find inspiration and desire to create. Today I was pushed into starting a new weaving project. So often it only takes that little nudge like a virtual group to spur us into action. Now to start the weft.

Organising my yarns
I thought I would spend today trying to organise some of my previous yarns. I still remember the projects made and the skeins I have sold from most of these samples. I feel the pull of the dye pot now I am already thinking of new colour combinations to try.

New skeins for sale
I have moved to online sales due to the current closure of the spindle tree ( the shop I have been selling my fibre creations in for the past few years).
Sales from these items will go towards helping a local small business survive these uncertain times. The Spindle Tree co op has been producing locally hand made natural items for 30 years. I hope it can survive this short break and reopen one day soon but for now remember that any purchases made here will help keep a local co operative alive. Thanks for your support.

A little bit of spinning
I have been slowely working my way through milos latest fleece. I always seem to leave the brown fleece to the last to spin as it seems to go on forever. But this year I decided to spin it first. I have been working my way through it and really pleased with the results.
